The Members of the First Unitarian Universalist
Society this afternoon issued a call to the Reverend
Gregory L. Stewart to serve the Society as its
Senior Minister. Following the announcement of the
vote, Rev. Stewart joined the Congregation in the
Sanctuary and accepted the call.
Membership Gives Strong Vote to Rev. Stewart
The Congregation's vote to call Reverend Stewart was
overwhelming with 216 (95%) Members voting to call.
Reverend Stewart and his family will return to San
Francisco in August. His first sermon as our 19th
settled Senior Minister will be September 10th.
