Welcome Back!

Reverend Margot Campbell Gross Returns from Sabbatical

Members and friends welcomed Reverend Margot Campbell Gross back to the pulpit August 5th from a seven-month absence which included a sabbatical journey to South Africa. During the worship service Rev. Gross highlighted the courage she witnessed in the women she had worked with in a neighborhood 40 miles outside Johannesburg.

The choir honored Rev. Gross’ return with a rare summer performance. In addition, the Society’s Bell Choir played “O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing” arranged by Reiko Lane.

Well wishers filled the courtyard after the service as a reception for Rev. Gross celebrated the first return of a senior minister from a sabbatical in over 25 years.
